Kayhlynn, has started school here. She is doing very well. So far the teachers have absolutely nothing BAD to say about her behavior, her conduct, or her yearning for learning. She is a very strong student and takes pride in her work. She stays on task during the school day and helps the teachers keep the other kids on her team focused on their work as well. They said she is a VERY strong leader in the classroom. She is a joy to have in class. They were impressed by her awesome progress. They do random testing to see where they are at with letter recognition, letter sounds, and things like that. Kayhlynn has already surpassed the years goal. There goal is 25 and she get 53 in 1 minute!!!! Amongst other things she is really taking off in school. She loves going and looks forward to each day!! She is working on her numbers right now because once she gets to 5 she doesn't remember what they are. We made home made flash cards....there are no pictures for her to count.....so she has to remember what the number looks like. We are currently working on numbers 6-20!! She is really starting to get them down and will be right where she needs to be by January!! That is when they will do the next testing to see where she is standing. She is also involved in Gymnastics. She loves it and she pushes herself to learn new things. She can just about do a full cartwheel on her own. She can do a bridge, back bend, head stand, almost hand stand. She loves the trampoline, the high beam, and the uneven bars!! They are also working on flips and other things. She loves it and does very well. We had a nice long break from gymnastics because of a leaking roof, but we are getting back at on Wednesday.
Hannah, is doing some preschool at home. Only because preschool here won't take her because Brad makes to much money. Go figure. They complain when you can't afford to take care of your kids and when some one comes along that is able to they get punished by not being able to to go to preschool. Ha....makes no sense, but Mommy is doing her best to make the best out of the ugly situation. Hannah is working on learning her numbers. She is currently working on number 2. She also goes to a playgroup every other Wednesday for about an hour and half. She loves it and has made a lot of friends. She looks forward to the next new adventure every week. She is growing like a little weed and is currently wearing a size 4 in shirts and pants!! Her speech is coming together and you can hold a conversation with her now and understand almost everything that she says!! Her personality is really starting to stand out as she is growing into a little woman. She also part takes in gymnastics. She can do some front rolls. Learning to do some jumps on the jumping board, but her shortness tends to hold her back a little. She loves to get on the uneven bars and the high beam. Of course, the trampoline is right up there with those as well. She does a really good job during gymnastics, but her attention goes back and forth a lot. That depends mostly on how many kids are actually there and how many of them are not doing what they are supposed to be doing. But overall she is doing awesome.
Mommy and Daddy have recently found out that a new baby is on the way!! We are very excited. We are going to be BIG sisters. We are hoping for a boy. Although, we tend to tell them they are having two babies...ha ha. Wouldn't that be something if they really did? Mommy is going in for an ultra sound on Wednesday, December 2, 2009. She will find out how far along she is and when the baby is due! We are overly excited and can't wait to find out. Mommy also celebrated her 27th birthday a couple days ago. We were very happy that it was her birthday and we made her day very special for her. We also celebrated Thanksgiving. We usually have a ton of company come over, but this year Mommy and Daddy decided to do things differently. They had no one over. It was just the 4 of us. We had such an enjoyable day. We made phone calls to the states and got to talk with our grandparents and a couple of cousins. It truly was a wonderful day. We managed to eat a ton of food. Boy oh boy did we eat. We also had pie for dessert. Apple on Thanksgiving night and then blueberry pie every night after that!! Boy were they good. Well, we think this all we want to say for now, but check back often for new updates!! We love everyone bunches and miss them just as much!!!
